iGEM 2025 (world’s largest synthetic biology competition): Technical Lead Aug 2024 – Oct 2025

Led ZJU-China’s 14 people to a Silver Medal at the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition, judged at the Grand Jamboree in Paris. Built LumaManta: a light-controlled CRISPR logic circuit and the all-in-one water-monitoring device around it.

Sex Dimorphism in DEN-Induced Hepatocellular Carcinoma Mar 2026 – Present

Paired serum metabolomics and liver transcriptomics across 174 samples, with tumour burden held out so sex effects are not confounded by it — ~20 metabolites clear four independent lines of evidence, ~13 of them previously unreported.
